Ewa Jachimczak (b. 1990) is a visual artist and architect based in Dublin. A graduate of the University of the Arts in Poznań, Poland, she explores the dichotomy between humanity and the built environment, focusing on materiality and urban landscapes.
Her ongoing sculptural and photographic projects investigate the coexistence of natural and synthetic elements, often emphasizing overlooked or discarded materials. Through abstraction and documentation, she examines how these materials shape contemporary spaces, blurring the boundaries between the organic and the artificial. By reinterpreting our complex relationship with urban infrastructure, her work challenges perceptions of what defines a natural environment today.
